Anne is the Secretary of the CCS. Living in Cyprus, Anne has over 20 years work experience in Cemeteries and Crematoria, at various locations in the UK. Anne reached the senior management level during her career having studied and passed several modules towards the IBCA diploma and B’Tec Co’Ed (Business Management Certificate) along with many ‘in house’ training and development courses.
Her love of working within the Cemeteries and Crematoria sector has never left as she has been sharing information informally with the public and friends who continually say they are very interested in knowing more about this subject, which, unfortunately does not get talked about freely.
In one of her roles in the UK she did hold meetings in the Crematorium chapel ‘appointment only’ with many professional organizations, care workers, nursing, police, etc; they would attend and listen, ask questions, and an option was always there to view the facilities.
Anne always has the bereaved at the forefront of her mind when discussing or doing anything relating to this business. She has many ideas for the future, sharing, transparency and removing the 'unknown' surrounding Cremation, ensuring everyone can have an informed choice before and at the time of need.
